Nishtha_FLN 3.0 Course 2:Activity 1: Share Your Refeclection
Reflect on the experiences provided by you to children in the early
years. Are all children being provided the same set of
instructions and have fixed testing schedules or variation in learning is
accounted for? In your opinion, what are the benefits/limitations
in using a learner-centered approach? Share your reflections.
Teacher instructions is purely different to understand by students, and in different different cases teacher make some extra activities to make childrens understand. There is not such limitation for learner center also childrens interest increase for doing activities through that children will understand easily.
ReplyDeleteNo, 🚸 understand differently teacher'ss instruction.
DeleteIn learner centred approach the need of the child is taken care of at first. According to the entry level of a child a teacher plans his/her teaching transaction process. Which helps the child the most. It's based on equity rather than equality.
ReplyDeleteAs the children are coming from different backgrounds and contexts they have different in readiness for school. So in my opinion not all children should be provided the same set of instructions and fixed testing schedule in the early years of education.
ReplyDeleteYes
DeleteLearner center approach improves learner participation and also improve retention of knowledge. It develops problem solving skills and foster collaborative learning which makes learning more fun.
ReplyDeleteEvery Teaacher should prepare activities according to the learning level of each and every student. The teacher should give stress , how each student will achieve the competency of the topic .

ReplyDeleteRight sir
DeleteYes it is really fact.
DeleteKeeping the basic needs and the age factor into consideration teacher will have to conduct different activities. For instance conduct basic level tests for all students like outdoor physically involvement easy tests,so that at the end of academic year there will be no discrimination and equality will be the primary focus.
ReplyDeleteNice CBE is very nice
ReplyDeleteCBE is good initiative
ReplyDeleteIt's a good initiative for children
ReplyDeleteIt is very good initiative for children
ReplyDeleteReally FLN is required for the children
ReplyDeleteFln would be helpful for children.
ReplyDeleteTo prepare childcentered activity .
ReplyDeleteI've faced a lot of difficulties to make understand the instructions to a slow learner. I did instruct them in different ways . Child centered teaching is a must if we're seeking satisfaction in our teaching and achieving goals of FLN.
ReplyDeleteA teacher should planning according to needs of the children.
ReplyDeleteLearner centered approach is the best form of method of teaching in this present scenario.
ReplyDeletechildren get individual attention in this approach. Focus is given to the learner in stead of
the instructor. This approach gives best experience to the learner and content knowledge.
Every Teaacher should prepare activities according to the learning level of each and every student
ReplyDeleteVery teacher should be trained

ReplyDeleteEach and every child is unique in respect of their experience, achievement, understanding and their speed of learning. So same set of instructions and fixed testing schedules will not be so effective for all the learners. In my opinion learner centered approach is the best approach for elementary learners where learners' participation in the teaching learning process is more and the teacher is only the facilitator of learning. There are number of benefits of learner centered approach some of which are the following
ReplyDelete1) Learners play the vital role in the teaching learning process.
2)Learners get the chance to learn from their day to day life experience.
3)They develop the ability of discovering and invention through this approach.
4) They learn collaboratively which help developing their social and emotional aspects. And many more.

ReplyDeleteYes it is true.we do our activities different situation different students.
DeleteDifferent children are come from different background. So it is not right to give same instruction to all children.
ReplyDeleteCBE is best
ReplyDeleteAs children are coming from varied culture and backgrounds, so they differed to receipt the competency equally. Hence I think not all children should be instructed and fixed testing schedule in early years of education.
ReplyDeleteEach student has different learning needs. Given their strengths and weaknesses, the learning process should be based on competency, real-life situations, which can help you achieve the right skills.
ReplyDeleteEvery students are different in IQ so different techniques should applied for learning
ReplyDeleteIn my past experience, I can recall that, I have had tried to provide learner centred education always but due to lack of time and bounded in fix syllabus sometimes these have a got becomes diluted. In a hurry some LAL students legs behind. But it is beneficial to provide all children a Child Centred atmosphere. Here all children get scopes to think openly. They get opportunity to use the educational tools smoothly. They get chances to Learn by Doing. They boost their creativity very well. Peer learning takes place here. etc.
ReplyDeleteIn this period of pandemic first Priority must be given that how can we provide education to each & every student giving priority to their health
ReplyDeleteAs the children are coming from different backgrounds and contexts they have different in readiness for school. So in my opinion not all children should be provided the same set of instructions and fixed testing schedule in the early years of education
